Selling Fees

At the Virtual Flea we try to keep things simple. We don’t charge for:

Listing an item – It’s FREE.
Adding a picture – It’s FREE.
Adding more pictures – They’re FREE too.
Monthly Shoppe Maintenance – It’s FREE.
Bolding, special layouts, templates, inventory maintenance software, shoppe statistics – All that stuff is FREE.

We only charge you when your item sells. We keep it simple using the following schedule:

If you do your own credit card processing through Square, PayPal, or other service:

Items under $10 – 50 cents per transaction.
From $10 to $50 – 5% of the sale less shipping fees.
From $50 and up – $5.00

If we handle the credit card processing for you:

Items under $10 – $1.00
From $10 to $50 – 10% of the sale including shipping fees.
From $50 and up – $5 plus 3% of the sale.

If we handle the shipping of the item for you:

15% of the selling price

It’s really easy to open a Shoppe at the Virtual Flea. Whether you are looking for a full time work at home opportunity, or have just a few items you’d like to sell, we make it easy and much less expensive than most of the other on-line shopping sites.

Sign Up. Tell us about yourself and what you’d like to sell.
Decide whether you want to set up for credit card processing yourself, or want us to handle it for you.
Decide whether you want to ship your items or do you want us to handle order fulfillment.
Add inventory items to your shoppe.

Create a Shoppe

Creating and maintaining a shoppe at The Virtual Flea is easy. We have templates for setting up the items in your shoppe as well as Excel Spreadsheet templates you can use to build your inventory file.

If you already have your inventory in a spreadsheet program or another site’s inventory program such as Turbo Lister we can probably provide you with the widget to get you up and selling quickly and with a minimum of hassle.

At Virtual Flea we make it simple and easy for you. There is no charge to set up a shoppe, nor is there a charge to list items and you may list up to 100 items in your shoppe. We only make money when you do. We handle the credit card processing, submit the money directly to you in any of a number of ways you prefer, and provide the tools you need to keep in contact with your customers via email, Twitter, and Facebook.

Welcome to the Virtual Flea.

We feature an eclectic collection of shoppes featuring a wide range of items for your consideration.

We’re always looking for new Vendors. We invite you to join us. There is no charge to set up, no monthly fees, and just a low processing fee once an item sells. You can set your own prices, decide what you want to sell, and either ship the items yourself or we can do the order fulfillment for you.
