HISTORICAL NOTES:

    The Kentucky 27th Infantry Regiment was organized at Rochester, Ky., December 16, 1861, to March 21, 1862. The Regiment lost during service 1 Officer and 34 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 181 Enlisted men by disease. Total 217.
