Historical Notes:
The official designation for this unit was the Georgia 14th Artillery Battalion, Company B. It was organized on April 1,
1862 and armed with four 3.3" Rifles on November 11, 1862.[i.e. following
Chattanooga]. It was reported as being without guns on December 14,
1864. It was armed with four 10-lb. Parrotts on March 29, 1864.
It was armed with four 12-lb. Napoleans on January 6, 1865. Surrendered
by General Joesph E. Johnson at Durham Station. Orange County, North Carolina
