Georgia 25th Infantry Battalion Provost Guard



Historical Notes:
The Georgia 25th Infantry Battalion Provost Guard served as guards in Atlanta. In June, 1864, this unit was ordered disbanded. The men who were subject to subcription were ordered into service and the remaining men and boys were ordered to report to Gen. Howell Cobb for Militia service. Assignments:
