Crossley's Half Company, Delaware Artillery


HISTORICAL NOTES:

Capt. Thomas Crossley received authority to raise a company of artillerymen to serve not over ninety days along the Wilmington and Baltimore Railroad. This battery was organized at Wilmington in June and July, 1863 and mustered out September 30, 1863. OFFICERS:
Capt. Thomas Crossley - formerly Captain of Company F (K), Delaware 1st Infantry Regiment. He resigned on January 17, 1863 on account of disability.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Guards of the Wilmington and Baltimore Railroad. ROSTERS:

The composite roster of this regiment contains the names of 55 men.
