HISTORICAL NOTES:
The 13th Regiment, Connecticut Infantry was organized at New Haven, Connecticut and mustered in from November 25, 1861 to January 7th, 1862. This regiment was finally mustered out the 25th of April 1866 at Fort Pulaski, Georgia and was disbanded on the 4th of May, 1865, at Hart's Island, New York Harbor.
The Regiment lost during service 2 Officers and 42 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 3 Officers and 157 Enlisted men by disease. Total 204.
