GEORGE QUINCY ADAMS (1860)
George Q. Adams was born in Ohio, came to Denver in 1860, where he made his
home for a number of years.
He was one of the founders of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Mr.
Adams died on January 9, 1920, at his home, 4486 Meade St., at the age of 85
years. He was survived by his widow, two sons, J. Walter Adams, superintendent
of the Union Station at Omaha, Nebraska, and W. W. Adams of Kansas City, and a
step-daughter.
