Arkansas 50th Militia Regiment

HISTORICAL NOTES:
This regiment may have had the shortest existence of any Civil War Unit. It was mustered in on 7 Mar 1862 and mustered out on 9 Mar 1862. This coincides with the Battle of Pea Ridge. The unit was from District 2 in Arkansas with Col. E. E. Dismukes as Commander. ROSTERS: The roster of this regiment contains the names of 472 men.
